Friends and Tomatoes

While in DC we stayed with good friend Brad Horn. He grows tomatoes with his fiance. He’s also a ridiculously talented radio producer, photographer and multimedia producer: his work is humanistic, informative (while not boring) and unique – traits the media industry could use a lot more of. Check out the work he’s done for the likes of NPR (Text messages from 1000 feet under the earth, beer made from 9000-year-old yeast, how the Appalachian trail really ends in Morocco ), MediaStorm (How Will We Feed Them?), The Carnegie Knight Foundation (Not Too Much, Not Too Little), AARP and Luceo (Still Hoping, The Toughest Decision)  and Bread for the World (Stay: Migration and Poverty in Rural Mexico). Personal projects of his also include the Veteran’s Listening Project . All up, he’s a good guy, I like hanging out with him.
